Hi, I have searched for hours on here and have yet to find a solution to my problem.

I have spent two days trying to figure this out. Please help?!?😱

Facts:
-Automatic digital climate control.
-No error codes
-All vacuum lines and actuators work perfectly
-Blower works perfectly in all speeds
-Both passenger blend doors work, and I think the drivers side works (if there is one)
-Hot and cold temperature selections DO work
-There is NO change in air flow when the recirculating actuator is open.

Symptoms:
-almost no air output in any of the vents. There is just enough to tell that there is a change in temperature.
-Dual control seems to affect nothing in any of the mechanisms...

What I have done:
-replaced vacuum lines
-repaired all colored lines within the programmer and at the actuator connectors. The orange one was the only one that had collapsed at the actuator connection.
-Checked all fuses and relays.
-Removed blower to look for obstructions and found none.
-cleared obstructions from hvac air input by wiper blades.
-Shoved a shop vac in the passenger side main vent and sucked or blew to see if there were obstructions - none found and air blew/sucked from all other main vents

All systems are working on all settings, but almost no air output even with full fan speed.

Questions:
-Is there another door controller that I am missing?
-Which hose goes where on the Upper/Lower actuator. There are two vacuum lines to this one. One attaches on the side, and one comes out the center. I have tried both combinations. I have a white (red in the programmer), and a light green (yellow in the programmer) line.
-Is there a different air input other than by the wiper blades?

Other problem:
A/C compressor will not engage but relay is good, and low pressure sensor is working, and system is charged. Compressor will work when connecting relay pins 30 and 87, but there is no voltage going to the relay coil. System cools when compressor is forced on - no increase air flow from other problem.

Any assistance would be GREATLY appreciated! I am going crazy on this one!
😕😕😕

Update - Lasabre No air but everything works - also compressor will not turn on. HELP

A/C compressor is now working. I pulled the battery to reset the system and it now cycles as it should. Or maybe forcing it on balanced the freon pressure so that it would operate normally. If the latter is the case, I am likely a bit low on R-12.

There is still barely any air circulating 🙁
I see no cabin air filter. Is there one?

yes, above the blower motor states haynes manual

Thanks for the reply! Where exactly above the blower motor. I pulled the motor out and there is nothing above it. just the air intake in the center by the wipers. Is it on the interior of the car? I have a Chilton's ordered, but it will be a few days :/

sorry ive not done this but the haynes manual states:
remove the right hand sound panel from below the instrument panel
the cabin air filter is located above the blower motor, in the air inlet panel
lift the access cover over the filter and withdraw the ol filter

i hope this helps

Sorry, but there is not a cabin air filter on an '92 LeSabre, or PA!

I didn't think so. I would have come across it by now. I may just have to accept that there really is not very much air output :/
I'm also assuming that the front vents only work on auto full a/c mode...
Correct me if I'm wrong?
Thanks guys!

On this particular model, the dash vents only work with A/C, or vents ON. They will not blow with defrost, or heat selected. Have you owned this car for awhile, or did you just purchase it?

I just got it from my dad a week ago, so I am just getting started figuring it out.

When you did the vacuum line repairs, did you verify that you had vacuum to the inside unit with the engine running?

Is air coming out the defroster? That is the default with NO vacuum for safety.

On those cars, the rubber vacuum lines at the intake manifold to the storage box on the firewall and from the box to the right side of the car can age, crack, break, etc. BUT often with working on a spark plug behind the engine, an arm brushes the tube and pulls it off the bottom of the storage box. I've read a few comments where the plastic nipple broke off the storage box.

I'm suggesting verify your vacuum to the inside unit if you haven't already done that.

On another line of thinking, did you verify the blower motor fan turned and wasn't slipping on the hub of the motor while you had it out? Did you turn on the blower motor while out to verify it worked at normal speeds?

With the blower motor out, were you able to see the evaporator for the AC? All air goes through that, and if it has collected goop that comes in through the cowl intakes that could restrict the air flow depspite the position of the blend door at the heater coil.

If the car was parked under trees for any extended period, it might be a good idea to remove the blower control module and look at the evaporator for obstruction to air flow. The blower module is located on top of the fan box, below the fuse & relay panel under the hood. Two 10mm nuts must be removed from the fuse/relay panel, then pull it forward off the mounting studs. You should then be able to remove the blower module for evaporator inspection with a flashlight.

Okay, I pulled out the blower controller. The evaporator is so covered with crap that I cant even see it! That would be the problem. Looks like a pain in the A** to clean. May try a small vacuum, but I will most likely have to remove the whole blower assembly 🙁

Thank you! At least I now know what the problem is! This thing will be like new lol :headbang:

Glad you found that it was the evaporator core blocked with goop. I have read about cleaning it with solvent (carburetor spray cleaner IIRC) through the BCM (blower control module) opening. It drains out the normal condensate drain but not as fast as you might want to put solvent or liquid in. I would also think about using a sprayer for garden or lawn where you pump up pressure on a 1-gallon sprayer, e.g.. You have to protect the carpet inside from overflow, however.
