2008 Buick LaCrosse Super front struts

I have recently had a binding issue with the front struts on my 2008 Buick LaCrosse Super. I have the 5.3 V8 front wheel drive with the 18" wheels. It has Billstein struts on it now and they no longer make the strut.
Has anyone had any luck in finding a performance strut replacement for this model?

the special handling struts are still available from GM front 25913322 but go for $235 and rear 89047815 for $133

I just punched in the above part numbers on Amazon and they have them there too.

You should first verify what suspension you have using the SPID. Is it FE2, FE3, or FE4? I think the rear part number shown above (89047815), is listed for the FE2 suspension? Click Here and look at the last two on the list for front/rear. If you want the GM part numbers for FE4 Click Here & Here.

Thanks for clarifying that HotZ28. I was wrong to assume that since it was a yellow Bilstein that it was for the Super.

There is a marked difference between the FE2 and FE4 suspension setups with the Super having the latter.

Been awhile since you posted this. Did you fi d anything that fits. 2008 Super with 18" wheels.
