2012 Regal GS Steering Wheel Question - Backlights?

Just bought a 2012 Regal GS.

Are my steering wheel control buttons supposed to light up at night? I noticed last night it was hard to see them, looks like no back lighting. I believe the Insignia's do from the pictures.

Please post a pic if you have one!

Its at the dealership now...a bunch of issues.
