Yup, you have my email address now. I have already taken it to a dealer and they said that was the acceptable finish. I tell you, it is getting pretty difficult to stay a happy customer. As a matter of fact, i would be very willing to give this vehicle back to GM and perhaps try a different manufacturer. Just so happens i have three GM vehicles sitting in my driveway that are less than 2 years old and totalling over $180,000 in new value.

HeavyBrewster your video says its private. Did you record how the glare looks when driving? Now that its dark so early again its really frustrating me again. I have to video it and post it for the world to see. The lask of help from GM is more annoying than the problem. They have our $50K for the vehicle so they do not care.

Bit the bullet. I didn't even get a thank you for trying to point out this issue from GM. Sucks that for all my years of driving so far, that would be 27 years now, i have dedicated myself to General Motors! Sigh...

You're right Heavybrewster...if my steering wheel looked like that I'd insist on a replacement... I'm underwhelemed with my plastic Buick too...will likely be trading it in on a different vehicle sometime next spring with only about a year's use...

Same result as last time...customer service offers help in the public forum and in private message I hear the same reply..."operating as designed". I guess they did change it by one word. Last time it was "functioning as designed." 2 years until my lease is up and I'll get an Audi.

Sounds like a good move...I'm looking at them too...but there's still no way that they should let you go with that steering wheel looking like that...

Steering wheel has been replaced boys and girls. The service manager actually apologized over the whole issue.

Glad you got some satisfaction...just from your photos, I'd say there shouldn't have been any question...

Heavy, we have the same problem with a 2014 Enclave. When I first saw the light, it reminded of a laser light streaking across my field of vision. Just wondering, did you ever figure out a way to stop the streaking light?
