I bought a 2013 LaCrosse and I'm having a problem with the Bluetooth connection when trying to stream Pandora. I keep getting a "network error" or it just times out and defaults back to the radio. I have an HTC ONE Max (Android).

When I drove an earlier model year I didn't have this problem. I also didn't have this problem on the new 2014 Encore.

The dealership told me it was a known issue and that GM was working on it. However I can't find any online reports of this issue.

Someone please help, it's really irritating driving around in a new car and having it not work as promised. And I did partly choose this car for the Pandora integration, so it's kinda a big deal.

Thank you in advance for any help you could give me.

Just a thought...but are you turning off your WIFI on your phone when doing this? If not, unless you have a dedicated WIFI signal EVERYWHERE you drive, it's not going to give you optimal service. I've got a Galaxy SII, and whenever I want to listen to Pandora, I use the quick menu at the top of the Galaxy to turn off WIFI and turn on Bluetooth. This turns on my G4 data connection, which is rock-solid, and Pandora works beautifully.

On a side note, I have T-Mobile as my cell provider, and streaming music from Pandora over your data connection is FREE through T-Mobile!!! They don't take away from your data plan for streaming music from Pandora, or five other music-streaming apps!!! It's a win-win for me! This is only through T-Mobile (all the other cell providers will make you use your data plan if you try this), so your mileage may vary...

I occasionally get the "network appears to be unavailable" message on mine. I understand why it happens out in the middle of nowhere, but sometimes it happens sometimes in urban areas with generally pretty good cell coverage where I normally get good service. I suspect cell congestion or "dead spots" in an area could lead to the message. I really enjoy Pandora when it works; I wish it worked more consistently. I have Sprint cellular service, by the way, and an HTC One (not max).

That said, I think your error is different and I don't recall ever getting it.
