The dealer agreed to upgrade my 2014 Enclave with factory navigation radio system when I leased on June 9th of this year. But to my dismay, I realized (after the fact) that this was in fact a third party after market installation (software). I don't have any NAV related buttons on the radio as it should have and there are no voice commands that can be used. It also requires that I hold down the "source" button on the steering wheel in order to access NAV. During navigation, there is no option to control/view the radio display simultaneously with NAV.

It's called "Intraphex iGo Primo 2.0.1". The maps are out of date and, to my knowledge, the only way to update is to completely remove the entire radio to access the SD card in the back. Has anyone else had this type of experience? The display/usability is so poor and low grade, I'm tempted to just go buy a Tom Tom 🙁 Very disappointed.

Thanks!
Jason

Ordered the nav system with the 2014 Enclave. Sorry I did. It has not been accurate at all. The arrival times are always off and the controls on the screen are in a bad position. Plus I don't like it being down below the dash. I use my Garmin when on a trip and just have the one in the car as a backup now.

We have the factory nav system in our 2014 Enclave too. It works well enough when the GPS is working. A couple of times a month the GPS will just stop working for a couple of days and then start again. Good thing we have a Garmin to take over directional duties during that time. A trip to the dealer is in order...

This is exactly why i dont order NAV on any of my new vehicles. GM has for 2015 decided to not offer a base radio with out NAV, guess i will look else where next time i buy a new car. FYI I priced my 2014 v/s 2015 option for option and the 2015 is $2551 more. Must be we are getting charged for the recalls.
