2015 Regal GS Sound System

I've had my 2015 Regal GS for almost 2 months.....I just love it (last car was a 2013 ATS...Buick is a far better ride). The only thing I question is the sound system.....bass is very weak compared to most any car that I or my wife have had in the last 10 years.....it does not live up to being a premium sound system. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing, or is it possibly a repair needed for my car?

It's par the course. The GS switched from the Harmon Kardon system to Bose on the 2014 and later models. It kinda sucks. The stock setup on my 2013 Sonic sounds better than our GS.

My 2012 GS has the HK and is OK on bass. The Lacrosse HK had better bass. I almost bought a Camaro but couldn't live with no Navigation and the weak Bose system it had at the time. I hope they fix this.

The HK system in my 2012 GS sounded Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than the Bose system in my 2014 GS. So, it's not you it's the Bose.

No highs no lows, with Bose it blows. I was disappointed with this change as well. It also gets buzzy very easily if you try to turn the bass up.

One of my plans is to research this more. Does anyone know if the H/U has a pre-out? Generally, you can't just replace speakers on Bose systems, but if there is a good pre-out you can run it to your own gear (based on my Mazda6 experience).
