Last time I changed the oil, I used low-profile ramps and did not have room to move.

I am planning to lift the vehicle at the pinch weld using a low-profile floor jack and custom lifting pad, but do not know where to place the jack stands.

The service manual says to only place jack stands under strong and stable vehicle structures, but it does not identify what or where they are.

I would greatly appreciate any recommended jack stand spots.

Thanks!

You are looking for the "pinch welds". Follow that diagram and look for spots along that seam that look pinched. On my 2010 there are also two small circles imprinted above the right spot. I'm doing an oil change also and have kind questions along these lines. Those points will definitely work with jack stands, but i'd like to use my low profile floor jack to raise the entire front end up and then put the jack stands in place. I am concerned with doing this safely for me and the car.
