2021 Encore GX P1467

Check engine light came on Friday night. Had it scanned, got p1467 indicating a surge pump issue. Got an an appointment on Friday. Car has less than 16,000 miles. Kinda shocked that something emissions related to have such a short lifespan.
Spamming everyone with this just to get it out there.
Here is a link to an update of this issue. It’s covered now for 15 years of 15000 miles. If you have paid for it out of pocket GM will reimburse you.

Has anybody had this fixed? I had my 2021 Encore GX in to the dealership on 04/21/23 and been waiting because they say the purge pump is on national back order. I created a claim with GM today to see about getting the part.
Did you ever get your purge pump?

Wife’s 2020 buick encore gx, about 55,000 miles check engine light came on, DTC said P1467, ordered the new purge pump from GM and it shipped to the house in a week for about 37 bucks or so. Super easy to replace, literally one 10mm bolt holding it. Installed it and cleared the code with a diagnostic scanner, drove it around for a good while to see if the fault popped back up. Everything’s good so far, we’ll see.
Good afternoon Can you tell me where you bought this pump? Thank you

How do you submit a claim?

what was the part number to purchase- and where from? where is the location on the car?

Got the check engine light at 39,000 and bought a code reader. Came up P1467 and I found the extended coverage info on the NHTSA site. Brought it to the dealer today; they’ll have the part tomorrow and I’ll have it back by Wednesday. The purge pump shortage is easing, the service guy said.

The evaporative purge pump (if that’s what this thread is discussing) is a recall item and replaced for free. Just had mine done, and I’m 3 months past warranty.
