Does anyone know for sure, if a Stage-1 option was offered in 1969? I always thought that started in 1970?

dont want to spend 50,000 and if i sell its only worth 25,000 i will leave it as is and use it for a play toy

You said at one point it's a Stage one, that brings the value up according to the link in post 17 to about 61k
If you can document the car, it is worth at least 50,000 to the right buyer. Again, that's a big IF.

its a 1967 430 cannot find vin. no. but i think u are correct that is not no,s match but he thinks it was replaced by dealership

i believe u were correct its a 1967 motor believed to have been installed by a chevy dealership. cannot find vin no. on block found the other no. on the passenger side.

Next question is, did you buy & pay 50K for the car? If so, I hope you enjoy the ride for a long time & get some enjoyment from it.
