I have a 2000 custom and I'm looking for some tires that have an decent spread between being good on road, and dirt and mud. I do a lot of back driving and it often leads into dirt or a 2 to 4 inches of mud at times. Currently have sentury street tires but will need to be replacing them soon. I want something that'll be decent in that mud but isn't an obviously big rugged tire. Still looks decently normal at face value. My current tires have gotten me through that mud but I would prefer something with more bite to it. I get sucked across the road by ruts and often start to cant at an angle going down roads as is. I've been suggested Altamax Atctic 12s and have been told that snow tires are basically all seasons with softer compounds. This is tempting but with the southern Indiana winter likely ending in a few months I'm concerned the head snd humidity might decrease my tire life to an extent I'd be buying tires often. And i don't make that kind of money. Any suggestions?
