Did you clarify it before, if you had tried it with Bluetooth and also
with the USB connection?
Were you using Bluetooth this time, or were you plugged in to a USB
Cable?
1. If you had trouble with it using Bluetooth, did you try plugging it in?
Then make an attempt with the USB Connection.
2. If you had trouble with the USB Connection, did you Unplug and try
Bluetooth?
 
I have not tried it plugged in. I think I will try to pair it up again with blue tooth and use the cable. Some times when I am playing music from my flash drive I will push the next song button and it will not advance. I allways thought it had something to do with the flash drive but now I am starting to wonder. Some times when I start the car it will be on a totally different artist than it was before I turned the car off. I don't remember having any issues with the On Star hands free calling except that it would not understand my voice once in a while.
 
You shouldn't need to Pair it with Bluetooth if you use the USB Cable.
