Anyone want performance rotors for the GS??

I've heard the original, noisey dusty pads were developed with track use in mind...
When owners started complaining and GM offered an alternate pad set, with the caveat that if the car was to be tracked, the original pads should be used.

I think before you change rotors and calipers, you'll want to just try some different pads. From what I've been reading, the pads more than anything else determine that initial bite feel. The original, early model GS pads had a lot of bite, but they also made a lot of dust. So many people complained about the dust that GM changed them in later GS's.

So far, I have been putting back on the original '12 GS front pads when I track the car and they've worked pretty well. I'm traction limited, not brake bite limited. I'm mostly afraid they'll overheat once I start pushing harder with better tires.

I am definitely going with OE '13 GS Pads, played around with aftermarket pads to many times in the passed with not the best results, with the right rotors the '13 GS Pads will make me more than happy.

You mention better tires, that's why I am considering slotted rotors, I have some super sticky Michelin Pilot Super Sports on mine and you can really push the car into the corners, then you have to slow down, I just want better heat dissipation, I worry after a couple hard stops I get some fade and as of late before I put it away, maybe due to colder weather I started to get a bit of a shimmy in the wheel under harder braking
