- Buick Electra 225 ‘64 (6.6L Wildcat 445)
Hey everyone,
I’ve got a Buick Electra 225(1964 with the 6.6L Wildcat 445) and I am having some chargin issues. I changed the alternator for a Delco Remy remanufactured one as well as the regulator for a Solid State Converted one. Once installed, they were both working fine, but then 2 days later the AMP light kept coming on when the vehicle is stationary and when I check the battery voltage it does not exceed 12V, even if I give it a little bit of gas. The Delcotron(alternator) was inside the return window so I returned it and got a new one for free. I installed it today and the battery is still not charging. I am kinda desperate. Any help would be appreciated
