Buick Regal TourX Disable Auto Stop

Learned something new about my Range Technology device today. I just got back from getting serviced at the dealer. Instead of plugging the device back into the OBD port before starting the car, I plugged it back in after the car was running (at a stop light). Then, when I stomped on the gas I got the "Engine Power is reduced" message. This message appeared 3 or 4 times when I hit the gas. I removed the Range Technology device and the problem went away. I plugged the device back in (again while the car was running) and got the error again.

So this time I removed the device, shut the car off, then plugged the device back in and started the car. That solved the issue. I guess the car has the "re-learn" it has the device?

General rule of thumb is not to plug anything into the OBD port while the vehicle is running or the ignition is on.

I replaced my standard bulbs to LED bulbs for my backup lights. After I backed up and put the car in drive, my entertainment center was stuck on my back up camera. Tried everything (turned car off, back on etc.) but the back up camer was on full time. Put my old bulbs back it and everything went to normal. When the LED bulbs were in The ASS was still working.
