Cadillac 12" Full Digital Cluster...You guessed it, in a 12 Regal GS

Cool. Is it a drop-in or are you going to need to fabricate/DIY it into the Regal's dash?

You sir, have a sickness. I love that shit!
Dibs on your 2014 GS hardware!

I dont even own this car anymore and even im jealous lmao

As of right now all the bugs I have found I have successfully fixed. The cluster is fully functioning in a manual transmission car, with working boost gauge, and ability to change display modes (sport, touring, etc) all working through the 14+ regal steering wheel and integrated with the 14+ Regal infotainment and nav!

Youll see in image two I'm doing to spirited driving...yet the RPM wasn't displaying. FIXED!

Coding for a manual transmission so that you can properly adjust the cluster modes and the PRNDM isn't displayed, unfortunately it still has the annoying "oh yeah, you need to shift into 6th at 35 because you know...fuel economy" indicators...but who cares cause it's coded for a manual and functioning properly and this cluster is BITCHIN!

A few other tweaks and changes had to be made to get all the feature working but so far I haven't found anymore bugs!

Now the real task... Custom housing and front cover to make it drop into the regal dash

more to come!

Make it fit! We're all pulling for you. That's what should have been in the car to start with.

Way cool, Andrew! How big of a job will it be to physically fit it in your GS?

Driving to work shot. Man this thing is cool.

Don't hit any bumps, you don't want it ending up in your lap!

Be sure to take some wider shots of the before/after install so we can see the magic in however you end up fabricating a fit. Hot glue and expanding foam can go a long way. 😀

It isnt going anywhere when it is wedged in there. The wire harness keeps it in place. Which will have to be extended for the final install as the 32 pin TE locking connector is on the opposite side of the cluster.

I am pretty well versed in the ways of molding, milling, and shaping acrylic, HDPE, aluminum, and fiberglassing. Along with a pretty decent electronics background should any modification need to be made to the boards or their interconnects. Once I have the guts of the cluster on the bench I will see what can be trimmed from the factory housing (as i would rather make that work). If making an entire new body is necessary I will probably make it out of fiberglass, with either HDPE or aluminum skeleton underneath it, and use an acrylic front panel.

Funny you should mention hot glue, I just got my new SUREBONDER gun today!

It's funny you would get this far without even knowing exactly how you're going to make it fit. For me that would be the *first* question. You must truly love to tinker. Looking forward to the documentary when you're done. popcorn-and-drink-smiley-emoticon.gif

Is that from an ATS or ATS-V (both are turbo/s, thus the boost gauge)?

Do you still get the Cadillac welcome screen on startup?

Great project regardless. Much kudos.

It does display the Cadillac Welcome

This cluster is in the CTS V Sport 3.6TT, XTS V Sport 3.6TT, Escalade.

ATS, even the ATSV uses a cheapo standard looking cluster.

I saw it. I wanted it. I didnt think I was going to be able to get it working, but I did. There is always a way to make it fit. The question is how far are you willing to go to make it fit?
