Cargo fence for tour x.

hook 2e.webp
hook 1e.webp

two pieces - the hook screws on to the threads and then to mount you hook to the headrest bars (under the headrest) and turn the dial to screw in further and pressure mount the gate to the backs of the seat/headrest.

Works best on the rear seats but can be used on the front too (leaving a gap between the seats above the center armrest/console)

On my set the hook part is loose and when inserted into the grip piece it does not stay there.
I can't tell if from your pic the hook has a molded metal threaded part in it or it's simply light reflection.

the hook has a metal bolt in there that screws on to the grip piece.

So after looking, researching & reading reviews, I finally got fed up trying to come up with an effective, attractive dog barrier. I wanted the Travall Guard for the Opel Insignia listed for $200, but the US Travall customer service would not commit to the guard working in the Buick TourX & the US Travall website always shows the barrier as out of stock.

Finally, I went to the UK Travall website & ordered one shipped to Las Vegas, Nevada. They list the guard for £130.00 British pounds including express shipping which converted to only $183 US dollars. I ordered it Saturday, March 6th & it arrived at my office Wednesday, March 10th. It was shipped from Derby, UK so fast it made my head spin.

This past weekend I took time to assemble & install it in my TourX. To say I couldn't be happier is an understatement. The guard fits like a glove, looks great, is very strong & sturdy with zero rattles or issues. I'm a very happy customer! 🤓

Not to steal your thunder,

If you are on the fence of getting one, I highly recommend a cargo fence.

This is my setup (I could never get the original hardware to work) using zip ties. I'm really happy with the setup.

Thanks for sharing this! I have wanted this accessory since picking up the car.

Edit: Appears that it's only for non-pano roof cars. Bummer!

I am wanting the adjustable cargo fence as well.
Does THIS look legit?
Cheaper than other sites, but if it looks too good to be true...

Thread from the dead! 💀 😱

Anyway. After spending a ridiculous amount of time searching I found one other than the Travelall that matches our roof and side wall contours closest. It’s made by Pawple and it can be had from Amazon here.

Excuse my messy car from my dumb ass dogs.

Here’s the barrier installed in my Essence. Doesn’t interfere with pano roof or cargo cover. Pretty damn sturdy too. It’ll definitely keep my lab and springer spaniel in the boot.
