Has anyone had a clear bra paint protection film installed on their Verano? If so, what did it cost to have it installed? I received three quotes and they were all much more expensive that I had imagined. 😱

The quote I got from Ziebart was 575.00. That includes front bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors, top of rear bumper around trunk opening and headlights.

I haven't had it done yet but I had a clear bra installed by them about 18 months ago on my Honda CR-Z and it's holding up quite well.

My lowest quote was $799 and I had two others at $899 for the bumper, 1/4 of the hood and the exterior mirrors. They all had a five year warranty.

Wow, I thought $575 was high. Ziebart warrants their film for life. BTW, I'm not affiliated with Ziebart in any way. I've used them for years mostly for window tint and never had any problems.

I called the nearest Ziebart yesterday and they are now charging $525 for the middle package. This price includes a coupon.

I just bought a 18" x 96" roll on ebay for around $100 shipped. I was able to cover the bumper area and the mirrors. I did the front bumper in a couple of sections unlike the precut which is one piece. My cuts with a nail triming kit with blut ends worked great but is a little jagged compared to the computer cut stuff. I'll need a little more for the hood and the truck area is a good idea.

I prepped the front end but buffing out all the scratches with Meguiars 2.0 which I don't know if needed. Application took about 4 hours and total including prep closer to 8 hours. This stuff is much easier to work with than window tint as it stretches and can be removed and reapplied if not dry yet.

All the youtube videos I've seen mimic what 3M says on their website for the installation of the clear bra.
