Clear Plasti Dip on OEM Regal GS 20s

Yeah, it does seem to have a bit more of that sloping/coupe look to it. I like it. Here's a few more.

The Vauxhall grill is also pretty badass.

I really do like those OPC wheels, but what I want more is that engine/drivetrain! I hate FWD and this little 4 cylinder doesn't help either. I really hope the GN comes out in 2015 and they offer it in a manual trans with those rims!

put a couple hundred miles on yesterday, and they're already full of break dust.

I like the finish as it came out, also I think I can do a better job with the product.

I agree it does kind of look like a plastic hubcab on here. In person, I think it has more of a brushed metal look, which I do actually like over the chrome. Sounds like I'm alone on that count.

What about plastidipping them black? Or is that more drug dealerish than chrome? At least you wouldn't have to worry about brake dust!

I like the clear, makes them look more like an alloy in my opinion. Clear plastidip will always dull the surface it is on. I am considering a Clear Plastidip bra on mine to protect it from rock chips.

I like the idea Carlos and it turned out pretty solid. It's a little to muted for me, I dig the shine on mine. But overall it looks clean.

My district zone rep was in and told me to expect a 2015 Grand national based of the ATS as I was discussing the GS and my old audi with him (he is actually an ex audi guy himself)

This isn't set in stone but he tends to know little tidbits long before us.

Is that car a hatch back?

I don't think so.

The Astra I was driving was though. Just a great car, one of the best I've ever driven. It was the 2.0 CTDI engine, which over the course of 1,500 miles, averaged 40.5 mpgs despite the fact that I drove it like a race car.

It had real solid passing power, and amazing handling. It was just an absolute joy to drive on the classic twisty narrow roads of the UK. Driving 70-80 mph on roads that we would be driving 35 on here in the U.S. 🙂 Europeans have it right!

The interior was very regalish, but instead of full leather seats it had quality cloth inserts with leather on the exterior of the seats. Nice space with it being a hatch and all.

I see a lot of people around here wanting a regal hatch; if GM was smart this car would be the answer to your prayers. You would love it.

I sure hope he is right, but I don't know if I want another sedan. I wish chevy would send over the ute along with the SS. If the GN does come in 2015 I may change my mind about sedans.

Happened to run into this OPC during my recent trip to Scotland. Wheels are so much better 🙁 Wish we had that option.

Can you imagine that in body color?

Based off the ATS, so RWD instead of AWD? I hope they offer more than a 2.0T and 3.6 NA. I want the 3.6 TT RWD or AWD just no 4 cylinder FWD!

Is the ATS based off the same Opel/Vauxhall platform as the Regal? I was under the impression that the Alpha platform the ATS is based off of is only used for the ATS at this time, with the new CTS and 2015 Camaro to join it on that platform.

What I want to know is how much weight and money will the AWD add to the '14 GS. Also if it will still be available in a 6MT with AWD.
