Do you have a trunk pass through?

I am also showing that the rear center armrest comes with 2 integral cup holders and rear seat pass-through and is standard on the 2011 LaCrosse. Please feel free to contact me directly for more information. Thank you.

PM sent. Thank you.

2012 Touring...no pass thru. The cut out is there but covered with material on trunk side and seating material on inside.

I wonder if GM just got rid of the pass through for 2012 as the 4 cylinder's battery pack is located against the seat in the trunk.

By the way, I have the 2011 Lacrosse CXL with FWD.

Mine is the AWD. I wonder if it has to do with what options are in the car. What options do you have. I can't remember the packages, but I have Xenon articulating lights, Heads up display, blind zone alert, back up alert and i can't remember what else was optional.

My car is FWD and came fully loaded with all available options yet didn't have the pass-through. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to which one gets them and which one don't. Luck of the draw it seems.

Pretty weird!

I don't have the articulating lights, Heads up display, the blind zone alert or the navigation system. It has the comfort and convenience package #2 with ultrasonic rear parking assist, outside rearview mirrors with driver auto dimming, memory seats and mirrors and the 3.6L V6 with MVA steering.

It also has the feature where the trunk opens when it wants to.

I thought it went away for 2012 (meaning I had seen them on the 11's, and now not on the 12's (sounds more random than that though)). I've been looking at LaCrosse's now for a little while and am hoping to buy a '12 in a few months. I would like the pass thru in my car, has anyone looked into getting it added? I wonder how difficult that would be.

Marc

My 2011 CXL has the pass-thru behind the center armrest.

My 2011 CXL with Comfort and Convenience, Luxury Package, Entertainment Package, Driver Confidence Package and the 3.6L V6 does not have a pass through. It does have 60/40 seating in the rear and either or both the 60 or 40 can be lowered.

But does it have the pass through behind the rear arm rest?

Nope, finally got around to checking....no lil pass thru behind the armrest. Seems kinda useless since both seatbacks fold down and could be a cost savings issue too?

For those of us that don't have it it should have been a delete on the window sticker and priced accordingly. At least a couple of grand off would seem fair. 😀

Yeah I'm wondering that myself. You can definitely feel a rectangular 'something' underneath the seat back fabric but i don't see a way to see what's inside.

Well as I said I don't have one of these cars yet but I can't think of why I wouldn't want it. Maybe a body shop or buick dealer could order the pass-thru and make whatever slight modification needed.

Seems good for...

1) accessing a small cooler of libations
2) stashing a purse or other valuables without showing the world as your wife hides her purse in the trunk
3) giving your kids some fresh air while they're in a time-out

While I realize that many, if not most, buyers of the Buick LaCrosse do not transport building supplies or tools in their vehicle, I do. When I go to the lumber yard for some pipe, 2x4 studs, or other long thin items; it is helpful to be able to lower the little door in the back seat and not lose the ability to take my family along with me. This is especially true when I take these building supplies to my son's home over two hours away to help with his home.

I also find it useful when I take long handled rakes and shovels to my son's place to help him or to church for the work-bees.

Of course, there are many times when I need the seat backs lowered to accommodate more than just the limited number of longer items but it is nice to not have to lose the rear seating capabilities when just needing a little access.
