So can you invent a fix for my iPod problem?

I don't think you'd like my fix, which is why I haven't suggested it. My fix would be to get rid of the iPod (and while you're at it, anything other made by Apple) and plug in a USB stick with music. Works great for me.

Why did the zip ties fail? Try mechanic's wire. It is a roll of wire that mechanics use to lock in castle nuts. Tie that with several twists and do minimum of 3 possibly 4 if you can stand being in there.

That was a joke. When mmadden2 suggested using zip ties to add on 6 more cylinders and twin turbos I said that zip ties alone won't enough. Sometimes humor fails to come though in written text.

I just want to be clear that I wasn't being critical of those who prefer the pop-open trunk lid - just pointing out that it's interesting to me that people can have such different opinions about things. I guess that explains why we are having an upcoming Presidential election - to me, the choice is so clear LOL!
