I've owned my Verano Turbo since late last year.

While the Intellilink system is good, there are some bugs I noticed. Namely certain artists don't show up in the menu. I generally work around this by starting the music before I get to the car, but it's annoying.

I recently noticed that the Buick reports I have 100,000 songs on my iphone, when the actual number is closer to 4k. Curious about this, I scrolled through the songs menu and found every individual song was listed four or five times a piece. I'm wondering if there's some sort of caching on the Verano's side, and if there's anyway to clear it out.

Hi fiftyfivefives,

I apologize you're having difficulty with your Verano. If you want to call Infotainment at 855-478-7767 they will be more than happy to help you out with this situation. Keep us all posted!

Thanks,
Kelly J.

I've seen the same issue. I've found that 99% of the time it's due to a problem in the ID3 tag on the music. I've noticed that a few tracks however won't show up if it's a high bit rate MP3. I've re-encoded songs and then they will show.

I've got a iPhone 5 as well and it's nothing but trouble with Intellilink. It indexes infinitely, and I cannot use any voice commands with music. I have about 27,000 songs in the cloud and it is trying to index ALL of them, not just the stuff that's physically on the iPhone like in the last release of iOS. I wish GM would work a little closer with Apple on this thing...

So I have to use Bluetooth to stream music, which I *hate* because it drains the phone battery and...no art. Unless Gracenote guesses it and it's usually wrong.

Spoke with the Intellilink rep on the given number. She just recommended resetting the radio, which would also have the effect of decoupling all bluetooth devices. I don't know if it's worth it at this stage, especially if the problem will reemerge later on.

Apparently this is a common problem, though there's no word on when or if a software update will address the issue.

Does anyone know if the Intellilink system plays nice with any particular ipod/iphone model?

Figures that it's a common problem... :-\ I'm finding they GM has been slow to react to issues with the system.

Resetting the radio hasn't helped me with anything since iOS6.

All regular iPods (classic style and mini) I've tried have worked just fine. I'll try out my iPad 3 and see how well it works/doesn't work...never really thought of trying it.

I just about lost all hope until I saw the iOS 7 "in the car". I hope Buick gets on board with this, and allows current models to use the feature.
