Ok, so i'm looking at my exhaust. probably going to replace next year. Question though, why are there 2 mufflers per side on my 1996 RMS. one very large muffler in the middle and one small right before the tailpipe? can i remove the one right before the tailpipe? will that hurt anything? what will it sound like? Just curious as I try to understand this thing...
Read the forums (duh) and did some research. was considering the muffler delete but after checking some clips on youtube that's too loud for an old dude like me lol ! I think i'mma replace with a magnaflow and maybe an x-over pipe leaving the resonators and cats in. Get some good sound to piss of the mustang dude at the light but not too loud to upset my missus !!!
