I tried the app and was able to activate oil temp pocket gauge and speed sign recognition on dash and HUD

Any chance of some photos with the speed recognition on the dash and HUD? Did you need to modify anything else or just purchase his adapter and purchase the gauges through the app?

Sorry about quality of photos but it is 50 kph and paid and then activated through the app I don't know if work on your car though I mainly wanted to activate oil temp pocket gauge and found this turned on through app aswell

Thanks heaps, mine is a red needle VXR so will be interesting to see... I have an obdlink mx so hopefully that will work (mentions mx+) sorry another question haha - once you add these settings do they remain as that display? For example is it within the VXR setting tab or does it enable another tab OPL?

Looks like I'll have to purchase the gauges tonight!

Thanks heaps, mine is a red needle VXR so will be interesting to see... I have an obdlink mx so hopefully that will work (mentions mx+) sorry another question haha - once you add these settings do they remain as that display? For example is it within the VXR setting tab or does it enable another tab OPL?

No it doesn't have its own page you enable via app and tick it in screen where it says 11 of 11 pages and click right and tick traffic sign recognition

Hmmm mine connected as a vauxhall and I enabled the speed camera recognition using the app and also enabled this option afterwards in the cars page selection setting. but couldn't detect a thing at night so I'll see tomorrow morning. Did you also enable "has front camera"? It seems like it should be enabled but thought I would ask. (Mentioning as VXR has 360 camera working but the "has front camera" option is turned off by default)

Pretty cool having transmission temperature enabled as a setting

I enabling that option alongside traffic sign detection and it looks like it's not working for a 2018 Holden commodore vxr sadly. I will try and change the dashboard theme tonight incase it's the default Holden theme not showing the signs for whatever reason.

Thats shit mate mine is a 2020 white needle it didn't work for me first up did you activate Hud road sign page enable in menu on page 3

Mine didn't have pages, I emailed the developer and he enabled the gauge settings so maybe I've got a limited "test" I haven't purchased it yet. After it scans my added options for gauges, it comes up with a list that had about 4 pages and allows me to change to different themes but that's about it. So it's either limited by the app or it's my car's firmware being two years older haha

Ymmv. When I tried on my 18 red needle holden VXR (equivalent to a regal GS) it allowed me to add in transmission temperature and it added the option for road sign detection but does not seem to function. It looks like it works on a 2020 though jealous face.jpg. It also allowed me to change "themes" from my VXR to Opel or bucik etc but nothing fits properly (keeping in mind in from New Zealand so my car's probably different in ways)

Changing the logos and general themes is really the only thing I'd look to do. I'd love to get the GS cluster and get everything but somehow I think my boss aka wife would get pissy about the price. Most of the temps, etc I already get on a tablet I have mounted via my obd and torque pro app

Well changing the themes worked ok on mine but that was about all I could do. I run torque using my factory headunit - brought a device that emulates carplay and then runs a fully functional android so it's like the OEM screen is a tablet. Works great

My setup is waze through my head unit, Samsung tablet (connected to car via Mxpro +) for torque pro and Highway Radar (depending on what I'm doing) and then if it's a road trip I'll use my phone for RadarBot.

Does yours work and actually identify the signs? Mine now atleast uses the outdated GPS data and displays the speed signs in the HUD and Speedo (if I go "off road" these signs are removed) just wondered if yours was the same or actually reading signs

I think mine is gps data as well as it has old speed signs I only realised today on a on ramp to a freeway it said 70 k instead of 80 k looks alright though changes quick

I have a similar question. I got my 8"cluster through WAMS with the Opel theme for US '18 red needle and no longer have the ability to display the speed limit sign through GPS. Can I re-enable this through the app and dongle or at least switch the theme back to Buick to see if it will display then?

I am not sure as mine is a white needle but I can put opal dash theme via app
