I have the base verano, when starting the car with the remote started and then getting into the car I noticed that the settings for the heat do not come on automatically.

In other words, before getting out of the car in the evening, I have to set the fan speed on "6" and adjust the vent settings on where I want it to blow on. Is this normal?

Also, it seems like the car doesn't even get that warm in 10 minutes. I have a 4runner SUV with remote start and when I run it for 10 minutes and then get inside it's very nice and toasty in there.

Any advice?

I set my heat at 80 before I get out for the day so that way its warm when I get in for the mornings. I also notice that the heat isnt toasty warm in the 10 mins before I get in, but then again the lows here have been in the single digits. I'm satisfied with the heat when i get in with the kind of lows we have been getting.

Hulk311,

I am sorry to hear about your concern. Feel free to contact me privately if you find that you need additional assistance. Thank you.

Go to the vehicle personalization menu and Climate and Air Quality set Auto Rear Def to "on" and set the Auto Fan Speed to "high".

If 10 minutes is not long enough, extend it for an extra 10. It's all in the manual.
