Just read the entire thread! Kranz you need to do an update with a breakdown of everything you did and cost! It would be great for others trying to replicate.

Your GS is killer! secret is out on the GS now because of buick crazy marketing campaign. when I bought mine all my friends knew what it was from the march madness advertising by Buick.

Car no more, Kranz? Sad day if so

Why spend all that hard earned $$$ on so much limtation? I keep mine stock, it's a FAMILY SEDAN for peats sake.

What kind of power are you going to get with kids in the back seat, If your Wife/GF can stick her topless head out of the Sun roof, you may have a keeper.

If only you can pull the front wheels off the ground with the AWD version it may be worth it..

Some people just like having lots of power. Why do you feel it's wrong to have or want lots of power in a family sedan? Plenty of people buy cars like the Cadillac CTSv and if Buick still had a Grand National, people would also buy it. And these days it almost certainly would not be a coupe. It would be a sedan. But I'd like to get more of your thoughts on the subject as maybe I'm just not understanding your feelings about it.

I'm in my early 50s, and I've had my share of Power.

I had a 72 Monte Carlo with a 1969 Chevy 400 CI (6.6 Liter - for younger generations who don't know Cubic Inches), with 4 bolt mains, with 1963 .202 Fueler Heads, a 68 Chevy Turbo Hydromatic 400 Short tail doing 12s down the 1/4 mile.

Ever since I became a family man, all I've had were 4 Door Sedans, I had a Artic White 1993 Pontiac Bonneville SSE Supercharged, all stock. loved this car with the Heads-Up Display, wich my 12 GS had it.

My Oldest son had a 2006 Saturn ION Redline he converted from SC to Turbo, and got it up to 525 WHP, then he got a 2007 Pontiac Soltice GXP with this same motor as my 12 GS, or close to it, and he got rid of it since one modification leads to another modification and so forth, before you know it, you've spent nearly 50% more for a car, that's not worth much more than what you paid for it for just a few more horses. Maybe I'm showing my age, but I find saving my money for retirement is much better spent on LIFE and not my car. I love my 12 GS with 6M, since this is my only Manual Trans car in my lifetime, I thought I should get some fun out of something and makes you pay more attention to what your doing, I wish it was a new ZO6, but too much $$ for me, Insurance + Gas.

To make matters worse, the automobile manufactures want to put the Back-Yard mechanics out of business, by making these cars so hard to modify and repair you have to take it to the dealer where they jack you over a barrel to get your car running right, as well as OPEC and our great Gov't by jacking the cost of fuel to well over $3.00+ again.

These cars a NOT Meant to be TUNERS, so your Fast & Furious dreams can get you wrapped around a tree

I'll add my two cents...

As for accidents as a result of having a fast car - that can happen whether or not you bought it fast stock, or modified it. When you do modify the car for more power, you should also modify the brakes and suspension to ensure it's safe. A slow car CAN be made fast AND safe - safer than it was before...

As for buying cars and then modifying them - I know what you're saying. However, look at the other side of that coin. You can drive a car you don't like for many years while you save for that expensive fast car you really want. Or, you can buy a car you like - and drive it all the while you're modifying it. At one point or another, it can be as fast as you want it to be - but you drove it the whole time you built it...

Precision is doing a 6765 on it, it'd going to zzp this week for cams springs n e85... Should be around 380 whp
I need to replace my turbo on my 17 ltg platform
Is it pretty basic also? Only thing I see is getting to the bottom charge pipe. I'm replacing with the z54. Any tips will be great. I'm sure ones I get into it, it will seem better.
