So, as some of you know... I have a "Lemon"!
I have picked up a OBD2 scanner and the Torque app in hopes that I can snag some real time fault codes. I have constantly received the same fault code 4 times in a row...
when I requested a DVR for my car I was told by GM that the DVR's would not work on my car.
based on my findings I now believe GM was chasing the effect of the problem and not the cause.
my fault code is "P0302 Powertrain Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected". I will spend some time this weekend looking around under the hood. my hope is that it may just be a bad plug or coil pack. if the plug looks good I will move the coil pack to a different cylinder to see if my fault code changes before replacing the $95 part. if the fault code jumps from cyl 2 to cyl 4 then I will change out the part and HOPE that all my problems are solved... fingers crossed.
I will keep you posted!!!
