Saw my first TourX in the wild today.

I've often thought the Subaru Whatever-it-is (Legacy Outback?) was kind of a baby brother to the TourX.
It's an Impreza, very similar tot eh CrossTrek except not lifted. My daughter owns a CrossTrek. She liked the small size when she lived in Boston where the street are narrow and parking is really tough, but now that she's older, she wished she got an Outback for the extra roominess.

I just saw a black tour. X with New York tags on Changebridge road in Montville. Is it anyone here?

Hello pretty little silver TourX! Bethany OK

Encountered another TourX heading south on 75 today, past Knoxville! Made eye contact as they passed, both our cars were filthy lol

Encountered an Avenir in Costco!
Almost wanted to park next to it, but the spot next to it is right by the cart collection and is a big no no.

There's finally one I consistently see in town, parked in the staff parking area of one of the local elementary schools. But it's pretty plain in the "fire engine" red color and zero tint on the windows. Haven't seen the owner.

No one ever sees me or I see others. 😟
Funnily enough today I was limping mine down i64 to get to Discount Tire and a dark grey one pulled up and drove right behind me!

I've only seen 1 in the wild.
In our town of Nacogdoches Texas back in 2019 a dark blue one caught my eye.
Being a fan of all wagons, esp rare ones, I followed it into the USPS parking lot & saw "Regal TourX" and snapped pics.
Did instant research on my smartphone of course.
Hot footed it to our local GM / Buick dealer where the Sales Guy said "TourX, never heard of it !*
Ahhhgghha...please look it up & he did + I showed him my pics.
He confessed in 6 months there no wagons crosssd his path.
We DID locate 2 Sport back models on his lot & looked I showed him "made in Germany by Opel" which fact had heretofore eluded him.

So, that one day set me on an eventual path to helping locate this new wagon we have as our "Mom Taxi" to transport our 92 year old Mom around Destin Florida.

It's just the right height & wide door opening to finagle her into.

Same dimensions, nearly as my daily driver an e320 Mercedes-Benz wagon, into which she fits fine.

So I'm thrilled we got one as a keeper - it'll be mine when Mom eventually passes.

My Sis & her husband only have tall SUVs & can't transport elderly easily in such a tall ride lol.

Appreciate all the help.

The wagon being so new doesn't need much.

Just the battery fix my other thread covered & new floor mats.

David in Texas

Here's ours....last seen in the "wilds of Florida"....lol
PS I know white is a boring color but the TourXs were scattered so widely, I had only 3 candidates within my 300 mile radius.
Nice Red one in Ohio 800 miles north...oh well....white hides better right ?
