1. deleted all files from the old card with the "general inaccuracy" issue, cloned the new card & DD'd the image to the old card.
2. replaced the new card's 'ADCKJZ_DRACDS_VANELET_ERUTANGIS_DENALI.SIN.sys' file with the same file originally saved from the old card
(i think that file was the only difference between the old & new cards' data, and believe it references the card's hard coded unique id)
3. reinstalled the old card.
The system treated it like a new card, reinitialized & for now seems to be working...
