Or be dissapointed by since they won't bring a ton of the options stateside.

Yeah, well, half-glass-full, right?

I'd prefer a diesel with a manual transmission, but I know that's not going to happen.

Now that I've seen the packages on Buick's website, I am disappointed that some basic options like heated seats aren't available on the base model...

Two weeks! Hope that turns out to be correct. My dealer last Friday said they aren't expecting the TourX until "sometime" in January.

Last week this dealer told me January, maybe early or maybe late but January. Today he said as early as December 27 but no later than January 5. This car was built the first week of October.

Now hopefully the dealer I purchased from calls with the same news for my order.

Anyone know what the bolt pattern is on the 18" wheels? I am looking for some winter wheel/tire combinations or even just one wheel with a used tire on it to use as a spare but I can't find the bolt pattern info.

I saw one on the lot (smoked pearl metallic) this weekend when I was looking at the Sportback. If you don't care for the plastic trim on the wheel wells, smoked pearl metallic is a good color as there was very little contrast between the paint and plastic. I'm sure the plastic will fade over time (as it did in our MB GL320) and be more noticeable. I didn't sit in it but peering in the window, very similar interior layout to the Sportback. Easy to pick out amongst the Enclaves and Envision that were parked around it. As I'm used to looking at 3 series and A4 Allroads, it's certainly longer. More attractive than the old MB R350s.

I looked at the first photo and thought: The TourX really looks awkward.

Then I realized that the car on the left is a Volvo... The TourX looks good.

I'm eager to hear what C&D and other reviewers say.

The Redline review was pretty positive and keeps me interested in the TourX. I was very happy to hear that Buick says you can tow up 1000 lbs with it which is all I need for my small utility trailer. Just can't wait to actually see one at the dealer or maybe there will be one at the Washington Auto Show this weekend.

Curt has a hitch for it already, and they say 350lbs on the tongue and 3,500 to tow:

3,500 is plenty for me...

And I agree with this, too... It made me glad that we put off buying a new car until the Buick-Opel arrives.

We're cross-shopping a new Outback (to replace our '08 Outback), and it was really helpful that he kept comparing the TourX to the Outback (usually to the disadvantage of the Outback).

That is good to hear. The owners manual currently says that towing is not recommended. Maybe it will be revised.

That rating is for the hitch itself. You have to follow the manufacturer spec for the actual tow capacity.

How high does that liftgate get? Is it adjustable? We can open the liftgate of our Odyssey in our garage, wondering if we could do the same with the TourX.

I've had my Preferred trim TourX for five days now. Traded in my 2017 Lexus nx200t with 500 miles on it. Love everything about the Tourx but the stop/start feature at every stop.
