Hello, I have a new to me 94 wagon and it’s been modified.. the car came with the tow package and someone before me removed it and swapped it to the (2) electric fans.. And of course I’m having the issues with them not working.. I got the car not running and most of the interior in a box.🤦🏻🤦🏻. It’s got smog stuff removed and cold air intake…
The car has been lowered and the electric ride hight triggers the compressor (you can hear it running… ) but the ride hight doesn’t change.. I’ll find the fuse and remove it till I can get to it (unless it’s not that easy🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️)
I just this weekend replaced the opti-spark,plugs and wires.. Car started right up and purrrrs like a kitten.
Sorry I went on a bit.. my question is about the rear door/ hatch/glass. Now that the car is running I opened the rear and I heard a pop? and a motor that sounded like ride hight compressor started running.. it never shut off… I slammed the glass down an it went off… the handle on my glass is all jacked up and I need to replace it. I’ve looked on eBay but obviously am calling it by the wrong name because I only get pictures of the side rear glass.. so anyone know how to source that? The next time I tried to slam it shut the noise won’t shut off and I got busy an it ran the battery dry..
I have read a few posts and see people referencing “Car-Part.com” and I’ll try that this week but thought I’d ask here as well. I don’t see a classified section on the forum… might be an idea……..?
I’m assuming (that’s a bad word) this handle and the connector to the rear (5th) door is the issue with the noise?
As the car is new to me and I know nothing about it I’m at a loss. I don’t know anything about its options or base level. Car had the wood removed and repainted. All I know is it had the tow package and cloth/velour seats. The guy before me couldn’t get it to run one day an let it sit… I love the car and wanna make it my daily..
Looking for help on this rear hatch handle and the motor running… maybe a closing assist? I have a 68 Devile and you get the trunk deck close and it shuts it for you..
the guy who painted it did a great job of removing all badges and stickers in door areas.. 🤦🏻
