Three questions

I've been driving my 2011 Regal Turbo six speed since February 4, 2012. I purchased it new from a dealer who used it as a demo. After spending a few months with the car, I have some questions I'm wondering about:

1. I'm pretty sure I have it set up to give me a low fuel warning, but I notice that I get down to about 50 miles remaining and still haven't gotten anything. Does anyone know when the low fuel warning is supposed to alert me?

2. I live in Indiana, but every time I go to enter a new address destination in the navigation, it thinks I'm going to Washington DC. Is there any way to set my default location as Indiana? It would be great if I could also set the city to Indianapolis.

3. Anytime I make/receive a Bluetooth call, the volume automatically starts at halfway between 0 and max. I find this to be painfully loud and I scramble to turn it down for the sake of my passengers. Is there a way to set to start at a lower volume?

Mine gets pretty low, practically on E before the warning comes up on the NAV (first) and then the center DIC.

It should default back to the same state as the last one you used. If it is not that could be a software glitch that may be covered under warranty. There is no way to set a default city.

Same thing here, the volume for "phone calls" ...whether it is onstar, the onstar phone, or bluetooth... should default back to the same volume as the last time you used it.

I concur, My 2012 does revert back to the same song (or radio station) and volume after a call over bluetooth.

OP, I'd go to the dealer and ask them to fix all 3 of your issues.

I know this was an issue on the '10/'11 Lacrosse nav system too. I believe they came out with an update that took care of it, but I am not 100% certain of that.

I took my car to the dealer and they knew what the problem was right away when I mentioned "Washington DC". So, they installed the software update or whatever and fixed the problem.

However, I am still having the issue with the volume resetting to the halfway point every time I make/receive a new call. I've trained myself to immediately reach for the knob to turn it down every time I answer the phone, but I would greatly appreciate a legitimate fix if anyone knows one.

I just so happen to take a long trip recently and wanted to know myself when the gas gage would flip to low. Mine did it at 27 miles. I have a GS and that just happens to be the MPG highway. I went an extra 10 miles only to discover the gas station the Nav had suggested wasn't there. I basically crawled to the next station praying I wouldn't run out. Moral of the story is get gas when it tells you to. 😛

Boy..that would sure piss me off..!

mine does the same but i think they calibrate the gauges to be offset. I let mine go until i see the warning with about 25-30 miles to go then fill her up. Most ive ever pumped was 15 or so gallons and the car has a 18 gallon tank. seems like they engineered in a 3 gallon buffer for all of us procrastinators out there haha 😀
