Lowering your GS

Ordered these from a guy on ebay. I just typed in the h&r part number ending in 5 and this is what I got. They came in, in about a week. This is how they look on the car. I also have 10mm spacers on the car. And 285-30-20 size tires on here

The stance looks really good. I don't have experience with wheel spacers. Where do you purchase them from?

hey guys

i'm new to the forum. coming from a 2010 bmw e90 335i that was pretty well modified. my last, i don't know, 5 or so cars were all lowered so it's a must this car gets it's due. searched and did not find anything on lowering a 14MY GS AWD specifically. didn't find much in general on lowering but a good thread on the opel h&r's.

i'd pull the trigger on either 28998-5 or 28998-1 if i could get confirmation they'd work on my 14MY AWD and knew where i need to go to in UK to purchase. i also have seen the 28998-7 for Opel Insignia OPC Sedan 4WD Sport Springs 20/15mm

appreciate any help on that or if there are other options ( eibach 38158.140 ) out there. from what i know, there was no change to springs, spring rate, suspension set-up between 13MY and 14MY so they should work?

thanks. want to get this thing lowered asap!

I'm looking for a lowering kit for a 2013 Buick Regal (not a GS). Everywhere I check, I'm hitting a dead end. Can anybody help, please?

I just installed AEM wideband gage and true boost gage. Also went from 18" to 20" +35 offset 255/35 R20 Goodyear Eagle Sport. Looking for a better stance and to lower my vehicle so there's not as much body roll around the curves here in West Virginia.

Sorry for the super old bump - I thought it may be beneficial to tie up the loose end in this thread.

I'm also in the same situation. I've taken a few days to locate the right kit, and it seems that ONLY one available for us would be the H&R Kit - http://www.ppcgb.com/products/handr-lowering-springs-28998-3

I had hoped to be able to source the Eibach kit from somewhere in Europe, but no dice...

The reason why the kit for the AWD model is the one hyperlinked above is because of the front axle rating. If you look at your sticker inside your driver's side door jam, the front axle rating is 1171kg. There are two kits for the AWD (or 4x4, if you're looking at European sites) - one "up to" 1161kg, and one for "above" 1161kg. Obviously, 1171kg>1161kg.

There you go.

I'm waiting for a bit until my warranty expires, but I'm close to pulling the trigger myself.

Good luck,

BP
