How much power can a stock regal hold

Yeah, i live down the street from precision, used to work there actually. Going to break in the motor with the zfr n order the manifold n waste gate this winter. Add timing and boost around 35lbs

What were you trading it in on? 35lbs will be insane, you're never going to catch traction!
 
What using to monitor detonation or spark knock? Does Aeroforce Interceptor make a gauge for our OSCAR?

Yes very good album- brings back memory for sure it was on my old ipod. I have an issue with not putting my right hand back on the wheel, you really dont need to on our cars the steering is perfect IMO.

I bought it from a local performance store cal Van Senus Auto-- as far as i recall its just a standard Cobalt Boost gauge.

Update- The motor is built and goes in for balancing in the morning. Should be here this weekend, well finish ripping the old block out-take pics and order parts, then put it together the following weekend which is the first of august. I took my vacation to go to tail of the dragon this year October 3,4,5... If anyone else is interested in rolling with the cobalt guys.
 
I got it officially tuned today for 350 hp .. no downpipe , just intake and turbo on the car , and I got another underboost CEL , the ECU is limiting boost so IPF said we need to work thru it .. so I reflashed the same IPF tune hoping it would reset the values .. most likely because of increased boost and timing advance im getting knocking which is limiting the boost after the ECU adapts

Other issue im having is the stupid ByPass Valve It's giving my car inaccurate AFR reading from the MAF I need to take it off since the ZFR turbo has a internal valve .. I meant to tell the shop to take it off and put the stock one on but i forgot but with clearance issues i can barely get in there so next week I will attempt to take it off but im not sure if I will be able too

IPF also said they will adjust the underboost a little more as well .. they adjusted the tune using math instead of data logs ( data logging on IPF server next week) so they'll work with that

but I have to get that BPV off , ive read on the cobalt forums about compressor surging and some other shit I forget all the details

but I did get a few full throttle pulls in before the ECU adapts and considering I have ONLY Intake and the turbo , the car is exactly where i want it to be we went for a mild tune because of no forged rods and IPFs engineers stand firm on tuning past 350hp without upgrading them but that was never an issue .. once we fix this bypass valve issue the car will be perfect IMO.. and I still have yet to get the downpipe and intercooler 😛

Yo Kyle once last question about the boost gauge.. How do you connect it to the car? the little hose it comes with comes with a "T" connector thing that you just connect the hoses to? and with your gauges what are they mounted to that they sit behind the steering wheel?

your getting an underboost because the car is expecting X amount of airflow at a lower rpm; with your ZFR it spools later so your ECM is thinking there is a problem with your turbo. By BPV are you talking about an atmospheric bpv or the valve in your intake? My gauges are just 3M Velcro to eachother and my steering column. I told myself last winter I would make a pillar pod for it; but I procrastinate a lot.
 
I have 2 stock ones , problem is the friggin BPV is so tight in the space that im hoping if i take off the intake and a couple of rubber hoses i can reach it but its so tight against the firewall i dont know if any ratchet will be able to get it

No I'm running both right now , I didn't know so I need to take my BPV out so I can have a properly tune ZFR tirbo
