IPF needs tune my car but we need datalogging
 
Yeah I noticed .. Tried getting VCM suite to datalog for IPF but no luck and I'm not about to spend that kind of money just to datalog lol
But were getting somewhere finally

Get her tuned up again this week?? Would have been sweet to hear that thing on 28th this weekend. Now I don't know if I'll make to the madness. ZZP has a little coffee and stuff on display in the morning that I would have tried to stop in for.
 
Yeah.... a tad disappointed on the dyno.... only made 382 on 12 degrees at 24.5 lbs. Matt needed the piston model number because is lower compression. Still need to change the oil. Going to get a fifth injector, turn up timing to about 20 degrees and add boost. Did kill an acr stage 3 srt. 7500rpm ftw.
 
Hey man, 12* at 24psi and netting 382 is not bad at all! I bet you she feels great. More fuel for adding more timing should make her feel quicker and not rely on boost as much...and net you more HP on the dyno.

It all comes down to shat she feels like on the roads man 😉

So tail of the dragon meet is the first weekend in October and I haven't even made it on the dyno for the tune/injector. I was doing a pull vs an STI and it went good minus him pulling at the hit. This car has never liked to speed shift 3rd gear, especially on this run. After it was said and done I couldn't shift to second unless I was traveling below 20mph and 6th gear would not engage at all, it would just grind and pop out. SMH. The next day I took it out to olive garden and 6th gear worked perfect... weird but ill take it! Today... decided not to work again.....
Anywho.... I ordered a whole new trans (well... used from junkyard out of a crashed premium 6k miles). This will probably be my last hoorah with this car as I move in next week and am just losing interest and money. I am content with being right around 400, maybe next year or something I might do a few things, but will probably focus on cosmetic modifications. As fun as it is to freightrain a car on the highway it just gets old fixing things and having limited resources. Just wanted to give yas an update for those following.

dude enough is enough with the car , clearly the car doesnt want to exceed whatever hp it maxes out at and this ****ing thing has cost a small fortune to repair from shit breaking at 400whp theres not much on the road keeping up and if there is .. you can tell them everything youve tried doing to the car to mind blow them lol , Throw some LED fogs , lower it find a strut tower and sway bar and say **** you to everyone else lol :headbang:
 
Just wanted to update this thread as I've been bouncing all over the place with my build. It has been at ZZP since December due to a smoking issue, overboosting at times, fuel cut off and an otherwise poor performance.

ZZP found that my PCV valve was trashed, which has been like that for who knows how long. A couple other things were fixed on the car as well. If I remember correctly before the car blew up it made around 410whp. I rebuilt the motor with wisecos and carrillo rods, external balancer etc. Re dyno'd the car and it made 382whp (went with lower compression pistons). So ZZP changed the PCV valve (mind you I'm on E70) and redyno'd the car. It's making 447whp. So I saved some money and am definitely happy with the 60 HP gain. Going to pick it up Wednesday. I will save some money this summer and do a fifth injector set up and a 7163 next fall so we will be around 500 to the wheel. Want to test reliability at the 450 mark first.
 
I always wondered who's regal was sitting outside Zzp for the last couple months. Glad to hear you'll be getting it back soon.

Arent u sick of putting all this money into the car? Did u ever think youd have to deal with all of this Shit lol

I think ill ride out this summer in my GS and next year ill go for a B7 audi S4

Ill have a nice part out though when the day comes lol
