Forgive me if I am mis-reading these last few but have you guys not read through this thread re: the TSB (“Technical Services Bulletin”) concerning this Fuse Box/Fuel Pump/Shorting Out/Rear Seat issue? They might fix it for free!

In other news...I need advice: my 2010 Lucerne Super‘s driver’s power window hasn’t worked in months. The other 3 work fine. The switch is sending power to the window motor and the motor works fine. The window pulls up and down easily enough by hand so am guessing the regulator is fine. Tried a different motor and a different switch with the same issue. Tried grounding the motor to the negative post on the battery and other spots with no joy; any ideas?

You may want to start a new post on the window problem, check the forum for the Chilton manual as it has schematics and from what you described it could be a harness short. There is another post where the owner had similar problems but I don't believe they ever got back on the repair success.

does buick take care of this issue normally? i have a 2008 with this same fuel pump relay issue. i had to resort to using a paperclip for final ride home. after going thru 2 new relays. i dont have the amount of money to for new parts. help

Do not use a paperclip as it will cause more damage! You can check with Buick as some have had it repaired for free according to their post by a Buick dealer, best answer.

I have a plug in my air conditioner line that caused flooding on my passenger side. Its caused these very same issues.

? What issues as it's somewhat impossible to have the AC drain into the rear seat fuse box!

I did all this today it was easy. My relay fuse still.seems a bit warm not like before but warm. Is this normal or what

There is a TSB about the faulty relay box design. Do a Google search for fuel pump relay issues or search right here on this forum.

A 2006 lucerne has a different relay set up, not the same fuse box.

I have the same problem with my '08 CXL Lucerne... but I can't get the fuse box apart. I have three bolts in the back side that I've loosened, however nothing will go apart from there. I see you said you drilled out three rivets, but I don't see any on this fuse box. Can you offer any assistance with this? I know this post is getting aged now, but I can't find any information on this fuse box. I do have one on order but need to get the old one apart. Thanks ahead for any assistance.

Listen to three nuts that hose the fuse box down on the back floorboard turn it over take the three bolts that hold the Warren horses loosen them real good and loose. Flip it back over take your pocket screwdriver and pop the front half of it out it comes out easy I just did one.,
