My certified Buick service technician couldn't diagnose a mysterious noise which occurs during normal deceleration, just before stopping. It sounds like a fluttering or buzzing noise coming the front end. However, he did replace the front wheel speed sensor wiring harnesses, which were corroded from salt. That seemed to cut down on the frequency of the noise, but it still remains. He also checked the ABS and Stabilitrak systems, but found no problems. He also checked for any generated computer codes, but found none. Has anyone else had this issue?

Hello jpstax,

We're very sorry to hear you're experiencing this noise in your Lacrosse. I understand you visited your local dealership recently and had repairs completed on the speed sensor wiring harness. However, we'd be happy to reach out to them to provide an additional layer of assistance if you are still experiencing concerns and would like to continue working with them. If this is something of interest to you, please send us a private message with your full contact information, VIN, preferred dealership and current mileage.

Sincerely,

Alex H.

The only noise I encountered from the front of my Super was the stabilizer bar end links. It was a dull rattle that you could only hear at low speeds. No other noise from the brakes or suspension.

At first I thought it was the loose passenger-side inner fender splash guard but that was not the case. I double-sided taped the flap but the noise persisted.
