Do you think the XPEL film is flexible enough to be worked into the "GS" lettering and design on the brushed aluminum sill plate? I know the aluminum sill plate is literally there to protect the paint, but it's too pretty to let it get scraped up too.

While I'm at it, do you have any pictures of the screen protector you installed? I was wondering how it looked since the display has more of a trapezoid shape to it.

I trimmed the lower left edge 1/8" arting about 2/3 of the way.
The hard part is dust specs getting under the film and getting it located correctly at first contact.
Also one of the films had the remove me first label on the wrong film. Sticky side goes down.

Got to go plow snow now.

Not really an accessory but solved for where to store my sunglasses. Those sort of new triangular magnetic cases from Costco and other places fit nicely while open or closed, in the nook between the steering wheel the speedometer.

Installed dual colored fog/driving lights tonight. An on/off cycle changes the color between yellow and white.

First image is the original Buick halogen lights. Now the white LED fog lights match the LED headlights in color and the yellow fog is just an added bonus.

Disclaimer: Although not represented in the images, the new $15 LED's are about equal brightness as the original halogens. So this is more for looks than functionality.

This makes my OCD happy. It drives me nuts when the color temperature of the lights don't match. Awesome replacement bulbs!

How does the LED work with the stop-/start system? Do you dip at restart and come on a different color everytime you stop?

Oh wow, yours IS backwards, sorry... Remote start where trunk release is on the ones on Amazon.

How does the LED work with the stop-/start system?

I need to test more, but what I see so far is that they do not change during start/stop event. Seems that if there is delayed time between the off/on cycle, They remain the same color.

It's hard to tell since the headlights (LED from DC1) are so bright, they drown out the light from the fog lights so it's hard to tell what color is on. I tried driving around with just the parking lights and fog lights on and the color was not changing during start/stop but this is not every day driving situation.

Again, these are not brighter than stock bulbs but I replaced for vanity reasons.

If I can get my son off PlayStation for a few minutes this weekend, I'll get visual verification from outside the car.

The light color WILL change it you flash your high beams because the car is designed to shut off the fog lights when high beams are activated.

It is also important to note that the yellow light is more on the orange side than yellow. They match the front side marker lights.

Stay tuned... I'll research more.

Looks like the area that overlays the cargo rails is removable or at least made to facilitate cutting that narrow rectangle out. Is that just an artifact of the photo or is there something different about those sections?

@fng, Sweet, thanks for the update! I will certainly consider this option as it will be a pretty close match to the fake carbon fiber interior accents in the GS.
