2020 TourX and GS

Are you East Coast? Is Va to far to drive for pickup? Got a line on a fully loaded essence, white.
The one at Rick Hendrick?

Dealers trying to unload courtesy loaners with high mileage as new cars everywhere now.
So, they are selling above certified used car pricing just because it was never titled, but nonetheles has the mileage of a used car.
Didn't know they could use the car as a loaner and not get it titled. I thought for insurance purposes they needed to have it titled and tagged for that purpose. I thought they could only use dealer plates for test drives or internal use like sales managers etc.

I've seen a 2 year old Impala LTZ that was used by the dealer's wife and never titled - 20,000 miles on it.

Our local GMC/Buick dealer won't let a courtesy loaner go over 5,000 miles or they claim they "can't sell it as new".

I could be wrong but I don't think they have to title it for employee use, but as soon as it is used by customers they have to for insurance reasons. At least none of the cars I have ever gotten from any dealer as a loaner had dealer plates.

The way our loaner cars work is they get put into the loaner fleet with dealer plates, but have not been titled yet. To get the "loaner discounts" from GM, the cars have to have 2,000 qualified miles from the loaner fleet and be in the fleet for 90 days. At that point, we try to pull them out as soon as they meet the qualifications so that they have as little miles as possible but still qualify for the discounted price from GM.

It might vary by state, but when I did a quick Google search NJ seems to only allow dealer plates to be used for test drives and direct employees of the dealer.
