Traded my car a week ago Thursday. It made it to the sellers website Tuesday with pictures pending. They paid above Carvana and Carmax without prompting, and I know they were paying the salespeople spiff’s for trade-ins. New car lot is bare.

‘19 TourX Essense DC1 & S&S with 67k miles. They gave me $21k, listed it for $25k. I put the Firestone PVS winter tires for trade since they didn’t care which set…I really hope they swapped the tires since they were noisy and rode terrible.

The new ride is a Honda Accord Hybrid EX-L. The trunk is just as deep as the TourX but with a small pass through with seats folded. Best thing for me will be ~$1,400/yr fuel savings.

Wow, when I was shopping for my TourX, that dark blue was really, really, really hard to find. There was only 1 available in the entire nation and it was through Vroom. Also, my daughter happens to be in Madison attending UW, I could have made the trip and visited in the process…but this came 2 weeks too late. I paid $31k for 2018 Essence with 30k miles. I know I paid too much, but when the wife is in a car buying mood, we jump. I’m not going to let $4-5k bother me in the long run.

I wish you kept the roof rack to sell to us at a discount. The dealership probably wouldn’t have noticed or cared

Compared to the usual Yukon Denali XL they sell it is! I got 30.4 mpg over 67k miles.

I drove by and didn’t see it today. I wonder if they fixed the dent on the lift gate that I didn’t mention at trade.👼
