How many miles on your LeSabre????

I've got a 1997, just crossed 120k miles. My grandparents bought it brand new in 1996 and it came to me last year. I love it and am taking good care of it! Looking forward to many more years of use and many more miles!

646,000 miles as of this afternoon. She goes in May 22 for a transmission rebuild then I should be good to go on that realm until the one million mile mark.

Rolled 648,000 miles before going into the shop on Monday. Just got word from the transmission shop as well:

1. Main source of the trans leak was a failing axle seal, however the lines for the transmission cooler were incorrect and leaking too, so those will be replaced.
2. While the transmission functioned fine for me, apparently the teeth on several gears were worn or near a potential total failure. Full rebuild kit on order.
3. Other issues found include a rear main seal leak, two bad engine mounts, bad CV axle, and a bad transmission mount, all will be replaced at cost of parts.
4. Valve cover is also leaking, which will be taken care of by my shop at a later date after getting the car back. I suspected that was an issue previously.

Original cost for the rebuild was $3300, but with extra parts that will bump it up a little which is fine. Should be done by next Friday and back on the road aiming for one million miles. On her last refill, she had leaked through slightly over 2 quarts of transmission fluid in 5 days.

I just hit 128,000 miles on mine. Because of the graduate study, I am not taking as many long trips as I would like. I did alot of maintenance and parts replacements and I have no issues so far.
