If your lucky enough to have red needle car...

Strangely enough, back on May 4th I went to Orlando to bring the daughter home from college and encountered only one (1) traffic jam, around effing disney of course. It was 107 miles door to door each way, the drive over only took 1h 40m and the return only 80 minutes (1h 20m for those of you not paying attention), I don't think I've ever traversed that section of road in such a short amount of time.
You got lucky. West of Disney It's rare there isn't a backup near Hwy 27/Champions Gate area, Plant city exits, malfunction junction, and where Selmon feeds into I-4 near Ybor. Except for maybe malfunction junction I-4 to 275 merge it wasn't always like that but that road has become kind of a nightmare in past 10 years. It will only get worse with truck traffic from the huge distribution centers popping up on both sides of the I-4.

You nailed right on the head bud.

Trust me, I realized how lucky we were when we were just about home, it was how an Interstate is supposed to run.

1.6 liter. And share very, very little with our street cars. Their idle speed is about equal to our peak hp rpm.

Toyota's 1.6L 3 cylinder is 300 hp, stock. Guys are building 2 liter engines with 4 digit hp numbers. So I get it, saying you can only get so much power is a bit silly. Speed Factory Racing has gone into the 7's in the 1/4 mile, at 212mph, in a 2000 hp 2.0 Honda (at 85 psi boost!).
They are exactly the same as our engines, all an engine is is an air pump, the foundational mechanisms of both a F1 and our engines are exactly the same, albeit an F1 engine is maximized for ultimate performance, whereas our air pumps are not......And I was responding to someones original statement of "I have to laugh at all this talk about top speed. Hey guys. It's only a 2000cc (2 liter) engine. Turbo or not. It's a two liter engine. You can only get so much Speed from two liters" Formula 1 cars are ROUGHLY 2 liter, and are extremely fast....
