Installation of LED/Turn Signal Fog Lamps for GS

I actually live on the east side of MKE, and sure I can do it haha. Shoot me a PM.

And there are two black boxes, like mentioned above, one for each side. I will upload some more pics possibly tomorrow
 
Great. I am from China, i've installed it aswell but with help from car repair shop.
 
just installed them, worked great. the only thing was the chinese instructions had it go into the 10 spot on the fuse block, rather than 52. It is the engine controller so when there is power to the engine, the DRLs come on. The way you have it i think is when the lighhts go on its on.

The hardest part I would say would be to get the side vents out without destroying them, but I destroyed them anyway.

They also didn't fit the cutouts very well at all, but whatever..looks good enough. for 66$ i'm pleased.
 
Finally installed my set of DRLs. Unfortunately, four white LEDs on one of the assemblies won't light up, just occasionally flitter on and go right back off again. Seller on aliexpress claimed a 1 year warranty in the original listing. I contacted them, and they replied they would send me a new part once they received the defective one back. So off it goes, back to Shanghai... 🙁

Great! Mine are on when the DRLs are on, and when the engine is running. I believe fuse 52 is an accessories slot.

And I don't know if it is possible to remove those side vents without destroying them haha

That sucks, man :/ At least contact has been swift! I bought mine off of eBay, and am surprised mine came with no dead LEDs. Hope you get a speedy transaction and get them back in!

Is there any chance you could contact your dealer and ask about ordering some of the colored Tri-Shield emblems? Some of us would pay good money to get our hands on some 🙂

Where can we find these for$66? The cheapest I have seen were $100.

I hear what you're saying. I ordered it. I received it. The thing came in two boxes...one for the lights, one for the controllers...$66.50 shipped. That is all...took two weeks to get, but still...don't believe me, your choice. My credit card bill and my car doesn't lie

Edit.. I think it's because on a lot of their items they give discounts for multiple quantities of that item, tho not with this product. So the price is per unit, not piece. Also if you read the description, their engrish not so good, so I would trust me and my experience over their misleading word.
