About 2 weeks ago my iPod started 'skipping' and losing connection with my T07's stereo. I had no issues for 10 months, but all of the sudden, I can't keep the iPod connected for even 1 complete song without it being disconnected by the Regal's Harmon Kardon stereo.

To make sure that it wasn't the iPod or USB cable, I tried 3 different cables and 2 different iPods...Same problem no matter what combination I used. I also connected both of the iPods to 2 different portable stereo docks and 2 different PC's in my house to confirm that they work just fine.

Has anyone else seen this problem? I hope that Buick Customer Service sees this and can help me find a resolution. I haven't taken it in for warranty yet, but that's the next step I guess.

I'm super frustrated because I have had the same Harmon Kardon stereo issue that is well-documented by several other 2011 owners plaguing my car since day one. 😡

i haven't tried my ipod with the car yet...but i continue to have USB issues. if i leave the USB flash drive in the socket after the car is turned off, i seem to often have issues when the car is re-started. errors like the sytem can't index or doesn't recognize the device. usually pulling out the flash drive and re-inserting fixes it. but typically only until the next cycling off-on of the engine.

As an IT I can tell you that sometimes the issue is the thumb drive itself. Stay away from cheap thumb drives. I've had issues with some thumb drive manufactures even on PCs I use San Disk thumb drives and rarely have issues. I have a thumb drive in my GS that never leaves the USB port. I never have an issue. I like the way it remembers what song I was playing then picks up from that song the next time you start. I'm not staying this is your issue but you never know.

i guess i'll just have to get another flash drive and try it. the one i currently have works fine in my f150 with sync so i figured it would be okay for the buick. maybe not...?

Every once and a while, my iPod will sound garbled, like a digital processing issue. I usually unplug the iPod and turn off the radio, then turn the radio back on and plug the iPod back in. It has happened 5 or 6 times in the 10 months that I've owned the car.

They have problems with them.

Mine was bad out of the factory, so was the SD card slot. Dealer told me they had a few that were brand new that never worked and needed to be replaced.

I'm scheduled to take mine in on Friday to have them replace it.

Make sure the latch that holds down the arm rest isn't damaging your cord.

With mine, I would have the iPod plugged into the cord and resting in the back part of the arm rest storage, and the latch would sometimes catch the cord and jam it down into the lock, hurting the sound and the cord.
