just got a 13 Regal T, want to upgrade. had 2.0T optima with a $1,000's in engine upgrades, but traded for this due to blowing motor...:headbang:
can't find much about this with google.

thanks in advance

Trifecta tune is the way to go just click on my banner and welcome

Anybody had any custom tuning done on the 2.0T Regal? Can a AEM Truboost work in this vehicle.... Just was looking around when I bought it yesterday and it did have vacuum going to the actuator instead of being electric like the 2.0T Optima... Oh, I've been looking at the site that's why I started the thread. Not enough results.

No, AEM Truboost will not work on these cars as they are looking for a specific torque level. If thesis exceeded the ecu will make adjustments until torque level is achieved.

You have to have the ecu refreshed and it can be done with a laptop and red cable.

Ok what type of gains am I looking at with Trifecta?...
Turbo-Back Exhaust, BOV, and Intake are my mods...
Also, does bad news racing have high quality parts?
Just want to see if my money was well spent. Tried to
contact Trifecta but couldn't find number.
I usually work with RPM Motorsports and just not familiar
as I'd like to be.
Thanks guys!

Hodges the easiest way to contact trifecta would be threw email or you could just ask us bad news racing 🙂 since we sell trifecta tunes

Ok how's the tunes? Read a lot of reviews yet I still
like to know what I'm buying... Do they delete the Torque
limiter, tuning types, max psi , afr at WOT, and total hp and torque
with all bolt ons.

So is the downpipe, intake, and trifecta tune the best hp/torque increase for the money?... Bad News Racing is stating that's there's an 70hp increase with those mods. Can anybody confirm this?

From what I've read, the intake makes more/different sound, but not any additional power. Tune and downpipe are the best bang for the buck mods in my opinion.

The intake is more for noise than anything. The Trifecta tune and downpipe are THE best bolt-ons for power and torque for the money. It you want even more power you could also get an E47 tune from Trifecta.

It you don't already know, E47 is just a 50/50 mix of E85 ethanol and 93 octane gas. You just fill up half and half at the pump and enjoy the extra power.

Ok, I just ordered downpipe, magniflow catback, Trifecta Tune from BNR.... Also installed custom intake w/ stock box K&N filter and 3'' Stainless steel pipe to intake

Added downpipe to my T recently and was a great performance upgrade. Did you get the catted version? Be sure to specify to zzp/bnr that you want two bungs for oxygen sensors - not just one. Interested in how the magnaflow will effect performance - other than sound. My understanding is that the stock piping is 2.5 in and the magnaflow is also 2.5 inch. Correct me if wrong ?

I did get the metal woven cat and I'm not really sure about the exhaust power increase do the cars Torque limiter.
Had custom stainless exhaust made with 3'' tubing and dual magniflow exhaust. Saves money

If you went with 3 inch tubing I would think that would help the turbo in the upper rpms. quick question -- did you buy the GS version of the downpipe? because the Turbo version ends in 2.5 tubing to line up with the stock cutback. So, if you added a 3 in exhaust I'm guessing that you bought the GS version of the downpipe?
