New ultra owner

Fuse is good, I pulled the back seat k for the large silver 25 amp fuse, pulled it, after, the passenger seat wouldn’t move, put back in, passenger seat fine

I’ll go digging around today underneath there , wonder if my daughters clipped a wire with the vaccum
A wire could have broke, but first I would test to see if there is power to the switch and seat motor. That will tell you a lot.

Did find a little, 2 prong black switch unplugged, need to see what it goes to

Would a multi meter work for power test? I could disconnect the main harness and see where the black/red compartments are and test

Yes it would work. Hopefully its just the switch and then you can probably find one on ebay. Just make sure the one you find on ebay is tested and works before you buy it.

Do you know if the switches/panel just pull out from the side? I don’t see screws like I have on my 05 Escalade

If you are talking about the power seat switch, the panel should be held on by clips. Just be gentle when prying.

got the switch out, connect multimeter to harness that goes to switch , switch is getting power

Also checked the main harness that connects underneath the seat
It’s also getting 12 volts when the car is on

Would y’all agree it’s most likely the switch at this point ?

What confuses me is that the lumbar is no longer working either, and it looks like it’s on its own switch

I would start with replacing the switch. Not sure if your gonna find new though, probably used on ebay. Just make sure its a tested part and says in the description that it functions. I would even message the seller to confirm.

When I got my lesabre from the original owners, it had the original tires on it still. They had good meat left, but they had bad dry rot.

Yeah, I’m gonna have to replace the tires very very soon
And I need to do the tensioners/pullys/belts/elbows

Should I do the water pump while I’m in it?

If the water pump is fine, then leave it.

How many miles?

Do you have any symptoms that would warrant a water pump change?
[/QUOTE]
Nope

Gonna lube the window tracks today
Add silicone grease to all the rubber seals

Back speaker is shot (in the rear deck) wondering how much work it is to replace that as well

I'm not sure how the speaker setup is on the rear of the park avenue, but you may be able to access the speaker through the trunk.

Remove the serpentine belt and check for play at the water pump pulley. If you feel any play then change the water pump.
My water pump didn't fail until about 160k.

Will do, thanks

Radiator fluid reservoir was bone dry
Not a good sign
I’m guessing some gaskets are leaking
