Hello, I am Mr. Bill from North Carolina. I purchased my new Verano (Base/Summit White/Cashmere) last Thursday. I traded in a 2010 Chevrolet Malibu 1 LT that had served as my daily driver for the past 3 1/2 years and 51,000 miles.

I am glad to be driving a Buick again. With few exceptions, all of my cars since 1979 have been Buicks. I love Buick - my Skylarks, Park Avenue Ultra, Regal Gran Sport, Regal Limited, Century Custom, Century Limited, Lacrosse CXS, were all excellent cars and I like the little extra that you get with the marque over a say, corresponding Chevrolet and in the past, Pontiac and Oldsmobile.

Thanks to my selling dealership which has sold me every car I have had since 1993, my buying experience was the most pleasant and easiest of all the many cars I have purchased. I have full confidence in my dealer and that it is important to them that I am fully satisfied. After all, they know when I come in to look at a car, I am ready to buy.

So far, I am completely satisfied with the little Verano. I am going to order the color coordinated mud flaps all around tomorrow and I feel these will go a long way in keeping my car cleaner.

Anyhow, just wanted to introduce myself and I look forward to perusing the forum just like I did the Chevy Malibu forum.

Congrats. It's an awesome car. I was this close to getting one myself.

Enjoy and welcome to the forums!

Welcome buddy, I still have a leased 2011 Malibu for wife's car, but the verano is so much Better IMO.

Mr Bill glad you like your new V. I had mud flaps put on my V and they really make the car stand out. Let us know how you like them. Carleen

Congrats Mr. Bill!
We traded my wife's 2009 Saturn Aura for a '12 Verano Convenience in Summit White/Cashmere about a year ago. That Verano was destroyed in Hurricane Sandy but my wife loved it so much that we got a 2013 exact replacement!
The car looks great in this color combo! I especially love the combination cloth/leatherette upholstery.

Thank you everyone for the nice welcome. I am liking my little "V" the more I drive it.

Longislander: I am sorry to hear your first Verano was a victim of hurricane Sandy but am glad to hear everything has worked out in the form of a replacement. I too, like the Summit White exterior coupled with the two tone Cashmere/Brown interior. It is one of the cooler colors, temperature wise.

Actually, my favorite exterior color is Mocha Bronze. I told my dealer I wanted a base model with no extras other than what is standard and my car was the only one on the lot so equipped. And, a search for a Mocha Bronze Verano didn't turn up a base model. I had no problem settling for white. It was raining hard the day I bought mine - I checked it over carefully before test driving it - carpets were dry, trunk and spare tire area were dry. Test drove it and checked it over carefully again and it was still dry, so it was the one for me.
