Noise from front passenger-side suspension...

Took my car in this morning and had the right front strut replaced. Car rides exactly as it should. Amen!!

So the "clunk" disease has set in pretty hard now with my 2012 Regal. I took it to the dealer today for them to fix it under my CPO warranty. The mechanic found the problem within 30 minutes or so. They said it was the king pin. They are ordering parts now and will fix it next Friday for me. I will be curious of this actually fixes it or if it will take either the strut mount or a strut.

I got my from the dealer yesterday. They replaced the King pins on both sides of the suspension. It seems to have taken care of the clunk noise.

2011 Lacrosse same noise on left rear. I secured everything in trunk and no resolve. I have 70 k miles so I'm starting with Sway Bar Links then moving to shocks then maybe wheel bearings if need be. I don't think I will go dealer route right now. Anyone have suggestions?

Sway bar bushings first.....end links last. Bushings will sound like a constant rattling sound. Have a Mazda that goes through them pretty regularly and not hard to identify. Can sound similar to loose shock/strut mount which I caused when removing the rear shocks on same car.

I had a clunk noise in the passenger side that could repeat when turning left. It got progressively worse rapidly and the dealership finally was able to isolate to the king pin bushing. Replaced both sides lower king pin bushings and nuts. Issue is resolved.
