Not really. Basically they said this isn't the first time they've seen it with these transmissions.

When I initially went there as my transmission was failing, he told me what it was as soon as he heard and felt it during the test drive. The pictures after the fact just proved he was right.

Indeed. It actually sounded way worse then it felt. Believe it or not, the car was still shifting through gears, even when this was happening. I'm sure if I kept driving it like that, it would have completely failed.
