Opening trunk on a LaCrosse

No access until they fold the rear seats down, then it's wide open. But I do agree about the lack of an inside release. Would it have killed them to put a release button in the glove box like they did for so many years, along with a lock cylinder on the glove box door?
Personally I like the lack of a trunk release. Hated it at first, but I get alittle better sense of security with the latch missing. The trunk becomes more secure. Keeping in mind Nothing is FULL proof. But on Average Everyone looks for a release INSIDE the cab which takes time.Even if they do Eventually remember OOoo the back seat trunk entrance,,,,, its all about time at this point and Not getting caught. I think on Average, with that in mind, odds are in My favor at That point.Just saying. These folks want to get IN and OUT on Average.
